6 Simple Ways To Raise Your Vibration

Over the past few years, as I’ve been working on the health of both my body and mind, I’ve become obsessed with high-vibe living, spending each day working to raise my vibration.

And now, I’m even more obsessed (in a non-creepy way) with YOU — teaching, coaching, and guiding you to your own high-vibe life.

Too many women are spending way too much time stuck on autopilot, overthinking things that aren’t important, ignoring the things that are, and passively letting life go by instead of tapping into its full potential.

It doesn’t need to (and shouldn’t) be that way! What is the point of going through life feeling stressed, sad, mad, bored, or frustrated? Sounds awful, right? And yet, that’s where we are right now. 


And, that’s where I was just three years ago. It was at my lowest point of sadness, confusion, anger, and frustration that I learned how those negative emotions had become the exact reason I was stuck in that far-from-desireable place.

 When I learned about vibrational energy and the Emotional Frequency Scale, I had a mind=blown moment where everything suddenly made sense! And, it also came with a sense of hope. Just when I thought I had tried everything to get my health and life back, I had discovered a path I hadn’t yet explored that promised success.

Here I am, three years later, teaching other women this exact process with both a podcast and an online course, so I guess you could say it worked (*wink*). 

Raising your vibration is one of the simplest ways to get the healthy body you crave, find your true calling or purpose, and live the peaceful, stress-free life of your dreams. But it isn’t always easy.

Before we can get there, let me break things down a bit first.


Everything on this planet has a vibration. Every single thing in this world — from the chair you’re sitting on to the bacon you had for breakfast — is made of up vibrating particles at the atomic and subatomic levels. These particles produce, receive, and emit energy at a particular frequency of vibration.

Frequency, which is measured in hertz (Hz) units, is the rate at which these vibrations and oscillations occur. Frequencies are used to determine and differentiate vibrational patterns. So, an atom that is vibrating at a faster speed would be considered a higher frequency than one that is vibrating at a slower rate. So, not only is everything vibrating, but it’s all doing so at different frequencies.

This also includes everything in our own physical bodies — our brain, our heart, our skin — all vibrating particles.

And, to take it one step further, even your thoughts and emotions have vibrational frequencies. As you can see on the Emotional Frequency Scale, positive emotions have higher frequencies, and negative emotions have lower frequencies.

 Another thing about vibrational frequencies is that they work like magnets, attracting like energy. So, high frequencies attract other high frequencies while low frequencies attract other low frequencies. This makes it clear then why having a mind that is dominated by negative thoughts would only keep you stuck attracting unwanted, negative scenarios.

Understanding the vibrational frequencies of your emotions is the first step to taking your life back and getting what you truly want out of your time here.


You probably know that one person who is always in a bad mood, complaining about their life. This person feels draining to be around. And it always seems like bad things keep happening to them. They just have all the “bad luck.”

 On the other hand, you may know somebody whose life seems pretty much perfect. They are always smiling and happy with tons of energy. They seem to have a glow about them and are fun and uplifting to be around. They seem to get everything they want or be the “lucky” ones.

It’s not luck! These people are emitting high and low vibrations, and it’s manifesting in all areas of their lives.

 Being a high-vibe person and living a high-vibe life is all in your hands, and it comes down to your thoughts and emotions. With some awareness and a little inspired action, you too can be the “lucky” one, (although we’ll know what’s really going on).



It will come as no surprise to you that gratitude is a major player in creating a positive mindset and getting what you want out of life. It’s widely known that practicing gratitude is good for us, and we all should have a regular gratitude practice, but why? And how?

Gratitude improves our health, relationships, emotions, personality, and career. Gratitude makes us nicer, more trusting, more social, and more appreciative.

Experiencing emotions of gratitude improves our health! People report experiencing improved symptoms, less pain, being more active, higher quality of sleep, more energy, reduced depressive symptoms, and lowered blood pressure just by implementing a daily gratitude practice.

And the best yet, being grateful makes us feel good! Gratitude helps us bounce back from stress, makes us more optimistic, and increases our self-esteem.

Gratitude is the highest vibe of emotions, similar to joy and peace. To raise your vibration and work your way up the Emotional Frequency Scale, begin a regular gratitude practice.

I love the idea of keeping what you’re grateful for in a journal. Gratitude journaling works because it slowly changes the way we perceive situations by adjusting what we focus on. Initially, you may not notice what you’re grateful for throughout the day until it’s time to sit down and practice your gratitude.

 As you continue on, you will notice it begins to integrate into everyday life. Your thoughts will turn to that of gratitude right as it happens, and you’ll benefit with an instant high vibe spike! Before you know it, you’ll be a continuous, walking gratitude practice! And, your body, mind, and spirit will reap the benefits.


We all know that regular movement is an essential part of being a healthy, balanced human. Yet, so many women are resistant to it! Blame it on time, energy, inexperience, weight, whatever the excuse, most of us are not being active nearly as much as we need to maximize our health.

 Not only is movement required for a healthy, happy body, but it’s also a necessary component to activating your high vibrations and keeping them there! You have to admit there is nothing better than all the positivity healthy movement brings to our lives; the natural high of a fantastic workout, getting outside, connecting with nature, being in a community of like-minded friends, it’s all so good.

 Many times, we don’t get into a workout routine or branch out from the same routine we’ve done for the past 15 years because we’ve attached a limiting belief that causes resistance.

 No weight loss goal, trainer, class, or cute new gym outfit will bypass that story until you’ve done the work to reconfigure that belief. If you struggle to get into a regular movement routine, you may need to do some digging into your mind first before you can fully reap the mind-body-spirit benefits.


Creating and maintaining relationships is an essential piece of living a high-vibe life. Without real connection, we feel lonely, isolated, and bored, which can then lead to depression if left unattended. Even just having a few ride-or-die people in your life that you connect with regularly and deeply will instill a sense of belonging, love, and contentment in both of you.

Social connection is good for your health too! It strengthens our immune system, helps with disease prevention and recovery, decreases anxiety and depression, and may even increase our lifespan.

But, who you spend your time with matters…a lot. I think we’ve all been in a room with someone who has a low vibe and felt the impact on our own moods and mindsets. That person who complains, argues or is in a bad mood all the time inevitably leaves everyone else in the room feeling annoyed, at best.

Find your high-vibe crew — those people who radiate happiness, peace, and confidence, the kind of vibration you want to soak up for yourself — and put energy into nurturing them! No matter how you’re feeling that day, when you connect with a high vibe person, their positive vibes will rub off on you. And, their presence will be a beautiful reminder of the kind of energy you strive to radiate yourself.


No, please don’t go wandering unfamiliar streets in town to get lost purposely, that wouldn’t go well. Instead, lose yourself in something you love to do. Maybe it’s a hobby you put aside as life got busy, a new fiction book that’s been sitting on your nightstand unopened for the past year, or learning a new skill you’ve been putting off. Do it now, I challenge you.

Doing something you thoroughly enjoy, just for you, and losing yourself in the moment is nourishing to the mind, body, and soul. Feeling the sense of passion, enthusiasm, and joy that activity brings will leave you absolutely buzzing with high vibe energy!

Taking time to explore and ignite your own desires is also an essential aspect of living a healthy life and taking proper care of yourself. Self-care isn’t just for those people who have the time, it’s a necessary component of every woman’s lifestyle.


As important as a strong connection with others is to your vibrational energy, equally as important is time on your own, being still, being quiet, and breathing.

Call it meditation, call it “me-time,” call it sitting still for 5 minutes — whatever it is to you, just make it happen and often. Take a few minutes to go to a quiet corner of your home, leave the phone, computer, TV, and chatty children/partner/roommate behind, get comfy, and just breathe. If thoughts come up, it’s OK! Let yourself think and dive into those thoughts deeper, if necessary.

 This process might prove to be rather challenging. The harder it is for you to sit still in total quiet, the more you need it!

Our lives are inundated with “noise.” There are the external things like social media, a full inbox, and a demanding boss, along with our own internal noise, the constant mental chatter (or, as I like to call it, the ego voice).

Giving attention to the noise means disconnecting from yourself — your thoughts, emotions, beliefs, desires. We need to make peace a priority to both keep our sanity and raise our vibration.

These are just a few of the many reasons why alone time is so powerful for our mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual health. While I love and strongly encourage regular meditation, this is not necessarily that. Think of these small doses of silent stillness as a time to calm down, reflect, and re-center yourself. If that doesn’t lead to a meditative state, that’s OK. 


I saved the best (in my opinion) and the most challenging tool for last. If you can only take action on one of these tools regularly, let it be this.

Get really good at noticing your thoughts.

Here’s the deal: we can spend tons of time meditating, eating nourishing food, connecting with high-vibe friends, and taking on a new hobby, but if it’s all happening while negative thoughts play in the background, it will be that much harder to work your way up the Emotional Frequency Scale, and those high vibes won’t stick around for long.

This is not to say you should never think a negative thought or have a negative emotion again. That’s unfortunately not how real life works for most of us. But, building a sense of awareness around our thoughts will give you the power to see them in action and choose differently.

When you’re having a moment, a day, a week, or even a month where you’re in a bad mood, things feel off, or you just can’t catch a break, tap into your headspace. What thoughts are playing in your head? I recommend opening your journal and writing them all down. See if you can pinpoint the emotion that comes up with those thoughts too. When you think that thought, how do you feel?

Once you realize what that voice in your head has been repeating over and over in the background, ask yourself, “How can I change this to make it feel a little bit better?

We’re not looking for massive shifts here. You’re not going to take a pessimistic thought and immediately turn it optimistic. But, perhaps you can shift your thoughts to go from pessimistic to hopeful or discouragement to disappointment. 

All it takes is gaining a sense of curiosity around your thoughts and emotions (because they are very much connected), and your vibrational energy will never be the same again. You will immediately recognize what’s creating a low vibe state in you and, with a little reconfiguration of thoughts, will be able to lift yourself out of it. 

Add these simple tools to your everyday life and watch the magic unfold as you begin radiating those positive vibes.
